Who we are
Nyararai Consulting Services (NCS) is a Mozambique-based consulting firm focused on research, evaluation, gender analysis, data systems, and learning. We support governments, UN agencies, NGOs, donors, embassies, research institutions, and private sector actors with evidence that improves programme design, implementation, reporting, and adaptation.
We work in English and Portuguese across urban, rural, remote, and conflict-affected settings. Our assignments include baselines, final evaluations, rapid analyses, gender and disability inclusion studies, market systems research, and MERL system support across Mozambique and the wider Southern Africa region.

What We Do
We specialise in baseline studies, mid-term and final evaluations, gender and disability analysis, conflict-sensitive research, climate and livelihoods studies, digital data collection, data quality assurance, and MERL/MIS system design.
Every NCS assignment is anchored in the client's Terms of Reference, the programme decision at stake, the geographic and sectoral context, and the communities at the centre of the work. We combine methodological discipline with practical field execution, then write findings and recommendations that programme teams can act on.
Across Mozambique
NCS operates across Mozambique with field experience in Cabo Delgado, Nampula, Sofala, Manica, Tete, Niassa, Zambezia, and Maputo. We work in Portuguese and local languages and have field networks for data collection in remote and hard-to-reach areas. Our consultancy orientation extends across Southern Africa.
